About Study Course
Objective
To provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the assessment of athletes' functional abilities,develop the ability to choose and implement in practice tests appropriate for the sport and the evaluation purpose, and process, visualise and interpret the data obtained to develop data-based training recommendations, critically evaluating the possibilities and limitations of using digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools.
Preliminary Knowledge
- Understanding of the human musculoskeletal system and the physiological principles of muscle action during exercise.
- Understanding of the mechanisms of expression of physical qualities (strength, speed, flexibility, balance, coordination) in sports.
- Understanding of basic concepts of biomechanics (movement control, stability, force vectors).
- Basic skills in working with spreadsheet programs (MS Excel or Google Sheets) for data recording and simple graphical representation.
