About Study Course

Objective

To provide students in RSU different programmes with knowledge and practical skills in organising and realising research work, promoting experience and ability to plan and realize long-term multidisciplinary cooperation between different sectors. The semester paper is organised in interdisciplinary teams under the leadership of a leading researcher. Students engage in teamwork for one or more semesters, in accordance with their study and research interests.

General research knowledge appropriate to their level of study, profession and specialisation.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understand the principles of the organisation of the research process, choose the most appropriate methodology and the principles of team organisation and management, be able to obtain research data in a way that meets the requirements, undertake their basic processing, prepare information, present the research result.

Skills

1.Will be able to work in a multidisciplinary team, perform the assigned independent work, process and interpret the acquired data, and present the results of the study.

Competences

1.Choose the most appropriate research model to perform the specific task, idenitize the required data and how it is extracted, analyze and interpret it appropriately, present the research results in writing and orally, according to the specifics and interests of the lecture theatre.

The student shall independently perform the task assigned to the group of the course leader and to the student individually within a specified time period, if necessary, in co-operation with other participants in the course, working in teams. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must complete the study course evaluation questionnaire on the student portal.
