About Study Course

Objective

Successful fulfilment of the requirements for the course gives 2 credit points. To ensure acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of occupational allergic diseases to be able to evaluate the impact of work environment risk factors on the development of these diseases and to implement preventive measures.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.of occupational allergens and allergen-induced occupational allergic diseases, their diagnosis, differential diagnosis with general allergic diseases, treatment, rehabilitation and issues of assessment of working ability.

Skills

1.To identify occupational allergens, to perform allergy skin tests and provocation tests, to distinguish occupational allergic diseases from allergic diseases of other aetiology.

Competences

1.To evaluate whether the state of health is suitable for work with occupational allergens.
