About Study Course

Objective

Complex and differentiated assessment of the professional competence of the student in the qualification, creating prerequisites for the granting of a professional Bachelor’s degree in sports science and professional qualification.

Preliminary Knowledge

Acquired knowledge, skills and competence programmes in compulsory part courses, as well as qualification selection part courses, practical skills for conducting the national examination hour/lesson.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology by explaining the structure and functions of the human body, as well as their impact on physical activity and sports load, linking this to the qualification or the chosen sport specialization.

Skills

1.Conducts theoretical analysis and evaluates the field of sport using scientific methods in order to develop effective solutions for conducting a sports lesson or assessing the dynamics of achievable outcomes within a session.

Preparation for the training session

In accordance with the RSU LSPA Faculty methodological guidelines, and in consultation with the head of the sport specialization, preparation for the training session includes completing the session plan, meeting with the training group, and identifying and arranging the necessary equipment and infrastructure.

The content of the practical examination for the qualification consists of a sports lesson or training session and its delivery based on a pre-approved topic.

The content of this state practical examination is regulated by the RSU LSPA Faculty Methodological Guidelines. According to these guidelines, the commission evaluates both the lesson plan and the student’s practical performance. Lesson plan templates and other materials are available in the e-studies system.

Written examination

50.00% from total grade
10 points

The written examination for the qualification is taken after the practical examination has been successfully passed. The topics and content of the written examination are regulated by the RSU LSPA Faculty Methodological Guidelines, which are available in the e-studies system. Assessment and the communication of results to students are also carried out in accordance with these guidelines.
