Skills
1.As a result of completing the study course, the medical resident: • demonstrates knowledge and understanding of medicinal substances within the scope of the study course; • demonstrates proficiency in the use of various Materia Medicas and repertoria to identify the correct medicinal product; • remembers the main features of polycrests; • is able to differentiate between similar preparations; • is able to search for additional readings and select relevant information, including on polycrests and rare preparations; • understands that the current content of Materia Medica and repertoria is constantly evolving; • develops a workable method for further study of Materia Medica; • understands how sections of repertoria are supplemented.
Competences
1.After successful completion of the study course, the medical resident achieves the competences necessary for a homoeopath: • is able to apply knowledge of Materia Medica polycrests and initial knowledge of comparative Materia Medica to deal with acute clinical cases; • has a good knowledge of the Materia Medica literature; • is able to develop a deep understanding of the active nature and therapeutic properties of the preparation; • understands the structure and language of repertoria; • is able to use repertorisation techniques sufficient to select a preparation for the acute stage of the disease; • is able to check medicinal product preferences with Materia Medica; • is able to analyse and synthesise; • is able to learn (including lifelong learning) and apply knowledge in practice; • is able to apply clinical research skills.
