Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.During the time allotted for learning the rotation discipline, the medical resident acquires basic knowledge and competence about common paediatric somatic diseases, their aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic algorithms and treatment principles in the amount required for a child psychiatrist.
Skills
1.As a result of learning the rotation discipline, the medical resident will be able to perform an examination and evaluation of the child’s objective clinical condition according to the child’s age, take life and disease anamnesis, create an examination plan, prescribe additional examination methods and evaluate results thereof, provide emergency medical assistance if required.
Competences
1.During the work process, will understand the basic principles of paediatrics, will be able to interview and take somatic anamnesis from the patient and their relatives. Will correctly present the need for treatment to the patient and their relatives. Will plan further development and improvement of one’s professional activity in therapeutic groups, as well as scientific research development.

To learn how to correctly perform the clinical examination of a child’s somatic condition and development.
To learn to recognise the symptoms of common paediatric somatic diseases and the potential interaction thereof with mental health.
To learn to correctly evaluate and choose the necessary somatic examination algorithm, to understand the limits of one’s competence as a child psychiatrist.
