About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge on social rehabilitation of the patients and rehabilitation models, distribution of competences between different specialists, as well as planning and organisation of rehabilitation for psychiatric patients.
Skills
1.To determine the rehabilitation diagnosis based on social dysfunction, to conduct psychiatric education sessions with patients and patients’ relatives, to draw up rehabilitation plan, to forecast rehabilitation outcomes.
Competences
1.To develop therapeutic relations with the patient, to discuss the possibilities of rehabilitation in Latvia with the patients and their relatives, to actively participate in the decision making together with patients while developing the rehabilitation plan, to get involved into the implementation of the rehabilitation plan by actively communicating with rehabilitation team, to develop psychoeducational programmes for the patient and the relatives of the patient.

- correct evaluation of rehabilitation possibilities in particular clinical cases.
