About Study Course

Objective

To learn the principles of emergency medical aid and resuscitation in cases of poisoning, in accordance with the requirements of the Forensic Medicine Specialty Regulations, in order to prepare the doctor for certification and independent work in the Forensic Medicine Expert specialty.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Outline the clinical symptoms of acute intoxication, pathogenesis, outcome, basic principles of therapy.

Skills

1.Diagnose the patient's critical conditions, apply in practice resuscitation algorithms in cases of poisoning, understand thanatogenesis.

Competences

1.Provide emergency aid in cases of intoxication, understand morphological changes in cases of death in autopsies.
