About Study Course

Objective

To teach the theory of Pilates exercise system, Pilates exercises for different levels of fitness with and without equipment. To master Body Shape lesson management.

Preliminary Knowledge

Anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, desirable knowledge in psychology, pedagogy; culture of movement; basics of gymnastics and terminology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of the study course acquisition, students will know Pilates and Body Shape methods and their theory; aspects of coach professionalism; Pilates and Body Shape exercise techniques; the basics of planning and compiling health gymnastics classes.

Skills

1.As a result of mastering the study course, students will be able to perform technically correct Pilates basic exercises, Body Shape basic exercises; to conduct Pilates and Body Shape classes methodically correctly, or to synthesize and dose them; correctly correct customer mistakes and control the technique of performing exercises; compile different programs of classes depending on the chosen goal, group preparation or equipment to be used in the class.

Competences

1.Exercise methods: Pilates and Body Shape theory, health gymnastics lesson: appropriate introductory part; movement execution technique; logical sequence of exercises in the exercise program, correct error correction.
