About Study Course
Objective
To ensure the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to prepare the oncologist for an in-depth understanding of the oncological diseases of children and adolescents, the principles of their diagnosis and treatment, and long-term observation of children and adolescents as they grow.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge of the epidemiology, biological features, treatment principles and palliative care of oncological diseases in children and adolescents.
Skills
1.Ability to communicate with a sick child or adolescent and his / her relatives, understanding of the purposes of dynamic surveillance and prevention of relapse in children and adolescents in the adult age group.
Competences
1.Aspects of systemic or complex treatment for specialists and doctors of other specialties are fully explained.
