About Study Course

Objective

Learn how to research and analyse problems related to international law issues; find solutions to problematic situations through legislation, judicature and the opinions of scholars of international law.

Preliminary Knowledge

International Public and Private Law within the scope of Master’s level programmes.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.On completion of the course, the doctoral student is able to demonstrate that he/she is familiar with and understands the latest scientific theories and conclusions in international law, knows well the research methodology and contemporary research methods in international law and interrelationship between various sectors.

Skills

1.On completion of the course, the doctoral student is able to independently evaluate and select methods relevant to scientific research, has contributed to expanding the boundaries of knowledge in international law. The doctoral student is able to communicate both orally and in writing on international law with a broad scientific community and the public in general.

Competences

1.On completion of the study course, the doctoral student is able to solve important international law tasks through independent critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation; is able to independently propose and manage large-scale international research projects.
