About Study Course

Objective

To acquire knowledge about mental illnesses and mental disorders in the field of competence of a forensic psychiatrist, in accordance with the requirements of the Forensic Medicine Specialty Regulations, in order to prepare the doctor for certification and independent work in the Forensic Medicine Expert specialty.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Formulate the basics of conducting forensic psychiatric examinations, the range of questions, methodology, and the principles of drawing up an expert's opinion.

Skills

1.Diagnose mental disorders and relate them to the effects of external factors, cooperate with forensic psychiatry experts.

Competences

1.To carry out an expert opinion in a commission with a forensic psychiatrist on the assessment of the severity of mental disorders in accordance with the criteria for assessing the severity of bodily injuries.
