About Study Course

Objective

To acquaint students with the issues of protection of the rights of medical practitioners, as well as to analize the obligations of medical practitioners, providing insight into both the legal regulations and judicial practice, concurrently providing theoretical and practical understanding of the rights and obligations of medical practitioners.

Preliminary Knowledge

Knowledge in ethics and patients' rights.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of completing the course, students will have a basic knowledge of current legal issues in the health sector and the legislation governing the rights and responsibilities of medical practitioners. Students will be able to use the acquired knowledge as a basis for further research in different studies.

Skills

1.As a result of the study course, students will be able to identify legal problems in the field of medical practitioners rights, duties and responsibilities, as well as potential risks and to find solutions. Also, as a result of completing the study course, students will acquire the problem solving skills required for research in order to create clear understanding of their rights.

Competences

1.Students will be able to independently list and analyze the rights and obligations of medical practitioners. Will be able to independently obtain, select and analyze the necessary information and sources of law in the theoretical and practical analysis of a particular legal issue.
