The diary includes reflections on personal feelings, insights and changes that have arisen over the course, linking them to aspects of professional development.

At the end of the course, the student develops a self-reflection essay on his or her experience in the professional development group. The essay should provide an overview of the tasks and techniques used in group classes, their possible application to different client/patient groups, and reflection on personal experience, feelings and insights during this process. The work should analyse experience with different techniques of specialisation in art therapy, reflect on the group process and assess its role in personal and professional development. The essay should also integrate the theoretical justification by linking practical experience with literary sources.
