About Study Course

Objective

The aim of the qualification examination is to test and evaluate the knowledge, skills and competences acquired in the study program.

Preliminary Knowledge

All course examinations have been successfully passed within the framework of the study program “Health Sport Specialist”.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of the study program students will acquire a comprehensive and specialized knowledge and understanding of the facts, theories, regularities and technologies relevant to the fitness coaching profession, which will allow: 1. Define terms related to human health; 2. To outline methods of determination and evaluation of human physical development to describe the fields of sports and training theory and training systems; 3. Name the main functions of health sports and competitive sports; 4. Tell about physical work ability, its determination and evaluation, factors that influence physical work ability; 5. To classify and describe didactic methods, to justify the choice of didactic methods in different sports; 6. To talk about adherence to pedagogical principles when designing, organizing and conducting training programs for people of different ages, genders and physical abilities; 7. Characterize peculiarities of sports pedagogy, regularities of movement teaching and types of lessons used in health sports; 8. Explain the specifics of physical activity for people of different age groups (children, adolescents, young people and seniors); 9. Describe the role of physical exercise in health promotion and disease prevention; Formulate the causes and effects of obesity on human health, explain the importance of exercise and the use of physical exercise to prevent obesity; 10. Define concepts related to overcrowding, name stages of overload, explain its causes and describe its manifestations; 11. Characterization of training load, symptoms of fatigue after exercise of varying magnitude, causes of exacerbation and exacerbation, and prevention of acute overload; 12. Explain the causes and the possibilities of their prevention in describing the prepathological and pathological conditions in sport; 13. Tell about physical activity for athletes with health ailments and about the health conditions in which sports activities are prohibited.

Skills

1.As a result of the study program students will be able to: 1. To determine a person's physical development, the body's functional and working capacity, the level of physical preparedness; 2. To evaluate the fitness of a person for their age, physical fitness and health; 3. To prepare a training program for people of different age, physical fitness levels and health condition; 4. Conduct individual and group fitness classes, using appropriate training methods and selecting the most appropriate exercises, exercise volume and intensity; 5. Evaluate client posture and course; workout process.

Competences

1.During the study program students will develop competencies and will be able to: formulate, describe and analyze practical problems in the fitness coaching profession, select the necessary information, prioritize activities and structure work tasks so that their implementation, using available resources, results in practical and measurable results Improve fitness and fitness for fitness club clients analyze situations, argue, logically formulate and explain one's opinion, communicate with people of different competencies and backgrounds on professional issues; develop a plan of action and tactics for dealing with fitness club clients with health problems, coordinating with family and sports physicians and physiotherapists as needed; to continue studies, to acquire new knowledge and skills, to develop their competences, which are necessary for a professional career and personal development.

Prepare answers to the theoretical questions of the state examination using lecture materials and the indicated sources of information. Prepare training programs according to the given situation tasks. Prepare a 20 minute lesson according to the specialization.

The exam is evaluated by the State Examination Board according to the 10-point system and the results are announced at the end of the examination. After passing the State examination the student must receive a positive assessment (at least 4 points).
