About Study Course

Objective

To deepen students’ understanding of the connection between culture and psychology and to improve the ability to analyse the possible effects of culture on various individual and group mental states, processes, characteristics, individual and group behaviour.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Analyses, compares and critically evaluates the concepts of intercultural psychology, respecting methodological considerations and using appropriate terminology.

Skills

1.Explains the concepts of intercultural psychology on various aspects of psychological research and counseling, including individual and group mental states, processes, characteristics, individual behaviour, interprets published research in intercultural psychology on its research topic and formulates problems and strategies based on research results.

Competences

1.Analyses the potential influences of culture on various aspects of psychological research and counselling, including individual and group mental states, processes, characteristics, individual and group behaviour.
