Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the infectious disease course resident knows the main symptoms, diagnostics and treatment methods of the most common infectious diseases, specific and non-specific infectious disease prevention.
Skills
1.Upon completion of the infectious disease course resident has acquired the skills to recognize the early signs of common infectious diseases, prescribe specific diagnostic tests, particularly bacteriological and serological tests, to evaluate the results of these tests, refer patients to a specific therapy.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
