About Study Course

Objective

Acquire knowledge on the regularities of personality functioning and disorders and origin of symptoms from the perspective of psychotherapy and skills of diagnosis in compliance with the qualification of psychotherapist and psychosomatic medicine practitioner. 1. Introduce dominant effects of diverse types of personalities, most common internal conflicts, identity and method of maintaining self-confidence, most common mental safeguard mechanism, object relations, manifestations in diverse functional levels and consequences in doctor-patient relations; 2. Provide skills of diagnostics and differential diagnosis, work with psycho-dynamic formulation in compliance with the patient evaluation scheme.

1.Analyse psychotherapy diagnosis (including psycho-dynamic formulation).

1.Example-based knowledge, skills and attitude essential for working at a hospital and for research, raising public awareness via media; understanding of a team-work (work in groups) and its functions, psycho-dynamics, crisis situations and their solution; as well as the ability to manage the work of a multi-disciplinary team and be part of such team, supervise doctors and medical staff.
