About Study Course

Objective

To provide students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and practical skills necessary for delivering pre-hospital care to casualties in military and civil-military settings, based on the core principles of the internationally recognized Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program.

Preliminary Knowledge

Not required.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.The student understands the principles and phases of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) and their application in military and civil-military contexts. They are familiar with available medical solutions, medications, and materials, as well as their use in various situations. They have knowledge of the components of the MARCH-PAWS algorithm (Massive bleeding. Airways. Breathing. Circulation. Shock. Hypothermia. Head injuries. Eye injuries. Sickening. Antibiotics. Wounds. Burns. Fractures. Observation).

Skills

1.The students is able to perform the skills required for the implementation of the MARCH-PAWS algorithm.

Competences

1.Upon completion of the study course, the student will be able to provide professional and context-appropriate tactical healt care to casualties in the pre-hospital phase, operating within military and civil-military environments across all three threat zones.
