About Study Course

Objective

To enhance understanding of the theory of macroeconomics and the role thereof in macroeconomic policy making, economic and business development to develop the skills to apply the findings to scientific research, practical economic and entrepreneurial problem solving and pedagogical work with students.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Doctoral students have good knowledge of the latest macroeconomic theories and insights, have mastered the methodology of macroeconomics, understand the principles, tools and problems of macroeconomic policy making in the contemporary context.

Skills

1.Doctoral students are able to evaluate the application of macroeconomic theory principles in practice, procedures for eliminating macroeconomic imbalances, economic growth models, and the dimensions of international economic relations. Students are able to discuss macroeconomic theory and policy issues and problems.

Competences

1.Doctoral students are able to carry out continuous and critical analysis of macroeconomic theory and policy, to identify factors of economic instability and growth, to assess the role of international economic relations in the context of national and global economic development, to interpret macroeconomic situations and events.
