About Study Course

Objective

Ensure theoretical knowledge using neuroelectrophysiologic and neurosonographic methods in diagnosing various neurological disorders.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of neuroelectrophysiologic (EEG, EMG, somatosensory potential) investigation methods, and the basic principles of data analysis, neurosonographic investigation methods, and the basic principles of data analysis, EMG in the investigation indications of peripheral and central nervous system disturbances and differential diagnosis. EEG, indications of nervous system disease diagnosis, somatosensory potential indications for the determination of the nervous system differential diagnosis.

Skills

1.To use neuroinstumental diagnostic methods in diagnostics of various neurological disorders. Independently interpret the investigation results of neuroelectrophysiologic and neurosonographic methods.

Competences

1.Formulate the use of neurophysiologic evaluation methods in diagnosing various neurological disorders. Interpret the results of the tests critically. Integrate the acquired knowledge of instrumental neurological investigation methods in neurologist’s clinical praxis. Justify the diagnosis and approach considerations in diagnosing various neurological diseases using instrumental methods.
