Knowledge
1.Students will gain an understanding of cognitive behavioural therapy, its application in case of emotional eating and eating behaviour disorders; an understanding of mindful eating and the Minnesota Model of 12-step treatment.
Skills
1.Students will be able to apply mindful eating in work with patients, will know practical tasks from CBT that help to change habits more successfully and will be able to apply nutrition therapy in the long term.
Competences
1.Understand CBT, mindful eating and other practical therapies that are applied to eating disorders and habit change.

1. Different therapies that can help with patients who have mild eating disorders and difficulty following healthy dietary principles. Physiology of habits. Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). How CBT can help a nutritionist's practice.

2. Basics of CBT; Phases of CBT therapy; changing behavior patterns; mechanisms of oral addictions; CBT practical tasks and exercises.

3. Presentation and examples of KBT practical tasks and exercises.

4. Theoretical presentation of emotional eating. Analysis of emotion sets. The habit loop. Inhibiting factors. Making an eating behavior diary and its importance in therapy. Practical tasks of emotional eating.

5. Nature of awareness and scientific basis. Conscious eating in the work of a nutritionist with patients, an insight into mindfulness practices.

6. Conscious eating tasks and exercises. Personality types and how to adapt appropriate therapy for lifestyle changes.

7. The Minnesota 12-Step Program, What It Is, How It Can Help a Dietitian Practice. 12 step program tasks and exercises.
