About Study Course

Objective

Provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquisition and improvement in dermatology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Resident is able to describe skin lesions: • explain the reasons; • assess the severity of skin diseases; • name and describe the main skin diseases.

Skills

1.The student will be able to: • collect relevant information on skin diseases; • apply the appropriate method for diseased skin care; • carry out differential diagnosis of skin diseases; • choose the most suitable/appropriate therapy; • select and make the best use of tests.

Competences

1.The student is able to use the acquired knowledge of skin diseases, differential diagnosis: • Formulate skin disease diagnosis; • Differentiate skin diseases; • Interpret the data on skin changes; • Develop recommendations for skin care.

Patient treatment in department; consulting outpatient – 50/50. Teach the resident to collect the necessary information – history, to acquire the skills to investigate dermatological patients of different age, choose and apply appropriate dermatological diagnostic and treatment procedures, to draw up a prevention plan, organize epidemiological work.
