About Study Course
Objective
Prepare a doctor of infectious diseases who is able to recognise, diagnose and treat a variety of drug-caused pathological conditions.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.During the time allocated for the study course, the resident will: - learn the principles of drug activity; - be familiar with the common symptoms and syndromes of addictive diseases, and the differentiation of lesions caused by infectious and toxic agents.
Skills
1.The resident will be able to: - assess the patient's mental state; - prescribe tests for laboratory diagnosis of narcotic drugs; - interpret the results of examinations; - formulate a diagnosis.
Competences
1.Using the knowledge and skills acquired, the resident will be able to make diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute and chronic infectious diseases in patients with addictive diseases.
