About Study Course

Objective

To prepare laboratory doctors capable of evaluating and applying laboratory examination algorithms for the needs of emergency medical aid and infection monitoring. Apply laboratory equipment, procedures and methods. To ensure the turnaround time of examinations, to observe the procedure for announcing critical results. Interpret the results of the investigation and choose the future tactics of the investigation.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.To describe the algorithms of laboratory examinations for emergency patients and for the purposes of infection control and monitoring; choose further investigation tactics.

Skills

1.Perform various types of examinations: hematology, routine biochemistry, microbiology.

Competences

1.Examination of biological material to determine the physiological characteristics of the human body. Evaluation of pathological processes and the patient's state of health.
