About Study Course

Objective

Acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies required for the use of cardio machines in health sports training, their programs and various aerobic performance tests.

Preliminary Knowledge

Anatomy, physiology of sport, biochemistry of sport, basics of health sport, kinesiology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Students will know the different cardiovascular training programs, their specifics, the division of the programs according to different principles, the different cardiovascular training models, different aerobic fitness tests.

Skills

1.Will be able to use various cardio equipment and their programs in classes with clients of different age and physical fitness, to test and evaluate their aerobic fitness.

Competences

1.Will be able to use various cardio equipments, choose the most appropriate and effective training programs to increase the aerobic work capacity of clients and the most suitable tests for testing and evaluating aerobic work capacity.

Independently acquires various course topics from the literature sources indicated by the lecturer. Develops and executes a training program to increase aerobic performance and endurance. Improves and strengthens skills and abilities in the use of cardio trainers and their programs.

To pass the exam in the study course "Cardio Trainers": 1. All training tasks must be completed and all lesson forms must be completed accurately. Must be able to use cardio training programs and fitness tests during the training process. 2. An individual training program for one month must be established and completed with the aim of significantly increasing aerobic capacity and endurance. The basic principles of training must be integrated into the program. 3. Aerobic performance test on Technogym exercise bikes or Monark. 4. Test of compressive strength when lying on the number of repetitions or lying down on the support 5. Strength test with a weight bar on the shoulders (75% for men, 50% for women) 6. To answer the theoretical question about cardio trainers, their programs, aerobic performance tests. In order to pass the exam and receive a successful grade in the exam, you must have a successful grade in all sections of the exam.

Students' participation in practical classes (20%), theoretical knowledge about cardio trainers, their programs and application possibilities (20%), developed aerobic performance and endurance program (20%), assessment of aerobic performance (20%) and endurance assessment are evaluated. (20%).
