About Study Course
Objective
To acquire theoretical knowledge, experience and practical skills in the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinic, specific prevention of infectious diseases in children, selection and transportation of correct clinical material, and microbiological diagnostic directions.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.The most common infectious diseases in children, their aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, correct sample collection and diagnostic algorithms, as well as treatment principles.
Skills
1.To choose the correct clinical material, transport and direction for microbiological diagnosis.

1.To interpret the results of microbiological examinations in paediatric infections.
