Knowledge

1.• tell about exercise application in health promotion; • describe gymnastic tasks and methodological peculiarities; • name the basic principles of gymnastics terminology; • define what the term is, terminology; • name the terms of the exercise terminology; • specify the basic principles of exercise control when running an exercise complex; • explain the correct performance of exercises and to name the most common mistakes when performing exercises; • display and name the terminology of palms, straight arms and bent arms, posture, sitting, reclining positions and supports.

Skills

1.• explain correct execution of exercises; • use appropriate terminology in own practice when managing gymnastic complexes; • describe the exercises according to the rules of the exercise terminology; • design and describe exercise sets for a specific target audience; • apply strength and stretching exercises to a particular muscle, muscle group.

Competences

1.To use appropriate terms to guide exercise classes and explain exercise performance, describe exercises according to exercise description rules, create exercise programmes for different target audiences following the basic principles and goals of exercise control.

Exam, which consists of an oral answer to one theory question and a practical part, the ability to demonstrate exercises using appropriate terms and to explain the correct execution of exercises, to create variations of exercises (section gymnastics terminology).
