About Study Course
Objective
Develop students’ understanding of the transformation of the European Union’s single market and the principles of green entrepreneurship, including its regulation based on research-confirmed knowledge. Additionally, cultivate the skills necessary to build sustainable businesses.
Preliminary Knowledge
Bachelor-level knowledge in business, macroeconomics and law.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Awareness of the EU single market and green business, its socio-economic and regulatory aspects. Knowledge of facts and data, concepts and ideas that demonstrate understanding of the subject matter of the study course, the business model of green entrepreneurship and the dynamics of factors. Knowledge of the basic concepts of green entrepreneurship and trends in the single market and green transformation. Will be guided by technological developments affecting green business research and innovation. Will be able to apply knowledge of business management and negotiation management in the context of green business.
Skills
1.• Be able to identify trends and find creative solutions through a scientific approach in green business, economics and innovation in a changing problem; • be able to demonstrate an understanding of the specific nature of the transformation of the socio-economic system of the single market and the potential for transformation in modern conditions; • be able to understand trends in the growth and deployment of green entrepreneurship and sustainable entrepreneurship, as well as knowledge of analytical methods to identify the potential for transforming innovation and digitalisation and their impact on entrepreneurship; • able to independently analytically collect information from different sources, critically evaluate it and correctly reflect it; • be able to formulate information in a structured analytical and concise manner in writing, to express accurately and to discuss in a reasoned manner the general and specific aspects of green industrial policy, green business, the negotiation process; • be able to use appropriate practical and theoretical knowledge and skills in professional business management and research (scientific) work, recognising the impact of their activities on the environment and society.

1.• Developing key skills that will have a positive impact on students’ careers; • ability to collect the results of research discussions, analyse economic statistics; • discuss green business issues critically and draw up short reports on current trends in green business and the single market and their impact on business development.

Essay - is a free-form description of the lecture subject on 3-4 pages. The essay must show the student’s ability to highlight key issues in the specified literature source, as well as draw up a text summary and conclusions. References are mandatory. Report (volume 5 pages) - The purpose of the research paper is to demonstrate the academic knowledge of the student in the subject of the study course. The research work should include: • student study ideas; • presentation of the topic of the research paper; • target and task development • discussion of the researcher’s views on the subject matter of the research paper; • practical assessment of the situation related to the topic of the research paper; • conclusions; • references. The exam is based on a presentation of the research paper. You must prepare your presentation in Power point format. The presentation should include key parts of the research paper and reflect the author’s ideas, objectives, tasks, results, findings and conclusions. The presentation will include the questions posed to the author and the answers they provide, as well as the discussion that follows. |
