Skills

1.• To recognise, characterise and evaluate normal and abnormal radiological findings of thoracic, abdominal cavity, skeletal radiographs at different stages of child development under the direct supervision of a certified physician. • To differentiate between, interpret and explain the indications, contraindications and radiological findings of barium or equivalent contrast media examinations at various stages of child development under the direct supervision of a certified physician. • To interpret, demonstrate and apply hip joint, pleural space, abdominal, musculoskeletal USG examination indications and normal, pathological radiological findings at various stages of child development under the direct supervision of a certified physician.

Competences

1.• To evaluate, substantiate and compare paediatric thoracic, abdominal and skeletal radiographs and their descriptions under the direct supervision of a certified physician. • To plan, interpret and justify paediatric radiographic contrast examinations of the gastrointestinal tract and urinary tract under the direct supervision of a certified physician. • To plan, evaluate and justify paediatric USG examinations and their descriptions under the direct supervision of a certified physician.
