About Study Course

Objective

In-depth knowledge acquisition of neurological examination of a patient with spinal disease, differential diagnosis and examination with electromyography and electroneurography methods.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Acquired sufficient theoretical knowledge to be able to differentiate movement and sensation disorders caused by compression of the spinal cord and nerve roots from other neurological diseases and conditions that do not require the intervention of a spine surgeon. Early recognition of acute conditions with neurological deficit.

Skills

1.Examine the patient with suspicion of neurological disorders caused by spinal disease, send for additional examinations and interpret the findings.

Competences

1.Competent to confirm or exclude spinal disease as the cause of neurological disorders.
