About Study Course

Objective

The aim of the course is to acquire the German language for daily communication at levels A1/A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning, Teaching and Assessment, at the same time developing students' intercultural understanding and awareness, developing effective oral and written communication skills in the context of intercultural and interpersonal communication.

Assignments with specific tasks for learning active lexics and grammatical structures. Individual, pairs and group work – preparation of dialogues, narratives and 2-3 presentations according to course topics. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must complete the study course evaluation questionnaire on the student portal.

The final exam includes a test of reading, listening, language use, writing and speaking skills. Students who have an average score of at least 7 points in all exam papers and presentation and attendance of 70% in each semestrer are exempted from taking the exam. The final assessment consists of: exam - 30%; average score of tests - 40%; presentation -20 %; attendance - 10%.
