1.In-depth theoretical knowledge of current developments in the evaluation of work-related health.
Skills
1.To apply comprehensive principles of work capability assessment.
Competences
1.Will be able to advise persons with health and functional limitations on issues of rehabilitation, social and professional integration, issues of health risks, assessment thereof and health promotion when returning to the work environment, as well as assessment of disease consequences from the biopsychosocial aspect.

Independent work with literature, preparing a presentation, comparing the recommendations of the UN (including WHO) and other institutions with the situation in Latvia on one of the following topics:
Medical rehabilitation;
Social rehabilitation;
Availability of assistance and assistants;
Education;
Temporary incapacity;
Long-term incapacity or disability;
Habilitation;
Accessibility of the environment;
Disability financing.

Taking into account the quality of the content of the presentation, the ability to answer the questions asked by colleagues, involvement in discussions on the topic, the student is assessed on a 10-point scale in the final examination:
• with distinction (10) – knowledge, skills and competence exceed the requirements of the study course, show the ability to conduct independent research and deep understanding of problems;
• excellent (9) – knowledge, skills and competence fully meet the requirements of the study course, the student possesses the ability to use the acquired knowledge independently
• very good (8) – the study course requirements are fully met, but there is not a deep enough understanding of certain issues to use the knowledge independently in solving more complex problems;
• good (7) – in general, the requirements of the study course have been met, but sometimes the student is unable to use the acquired knowledge independently;
• almost good (6) – the study course requirements are met, but the understanding of the problem is not deep enough and the student is unable to use the acquired knowledge;
• satisfactory (5) – in general, the study course has been mastered, but there is insufficient knowledge of some problems and inability to use the acquired knowledge;
• almost satisfactory (4) – in general, the study course has been mastered, however, the student has insufficient understanding of some basic concepts and has significant difficulties with the practical use of the acquired knowledge;
• poor (3) – the knowledge is superficial and incomplete, the student is unable to use it in specific situations;
• very poor (2) – the student has superficial knowledge only of certain problems, the major part of the study course has not been mastered;
•very, very poor (1) – the student has no understanding of the basic problems of the subject, almost no knowledge of the study course.
