About Study Course

Objective

To provide knowledge and develop competences about the importance of tax policy in the development of the national economy, the necessity of evaluating and using cross-sectoral analytical data in the decision-making process, the specifics of international cooperation coordination and adoption of 'good practices'. Completion of the course helps students acquire knowledge and practical skills in solving legal and economic problems of increased complexity in the work of organizations through the prism of tax instruments.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of the study course, students understand the financial flow and its importance in tax accounting, the importance of tax policy and its impact on the development of the national economy. Understands the influence of the European Union on innovations and their importance in the development of the national economy, strengthening of competitiveness and export growth. Familiar with the current issues of the global financial ecosystem: digitization, algorithmization, artificial intelligence, orients himself in the field of global financial flows and institutions, regulation, management and compliance, as well as in criminal law aspects.

Skills

1.As a result of the study course, students will be able to use theoretical knowledge of risk modeling and process management organization from the aspect of economic security, will be able to identify tax optimization and tax fraud schemes of international jurisdictions, will use analytical intelligence products, preventing and combating criminal offenses in the economy.

Competences

1.As a result of learning the study course, students will be able to analyze and integrate innovative cooperation models and technologies at work, will ensure the use of a risk-based approach in the organization's internal work and external communication. The organization will apply high standards of professional ethics in the management process, will be able to independently develop the principles of integrity and ecosystem responsibility, contributing to raising the reputation of the police officer.
