About Study Course

Objective

To deepen the master’s students’ understanding of the research process of different types of research designs and to improve the ability to conduct independent research in accordance with the basic principles of research.

Preliminary Knowledge

Knowledge in the subjects of care studies, information science, statistics.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of completing the study course, students will know different research designs, characteristics and implementation specifics thereof in health care.

1.As a result of completing the study course, students will be able to evaluate different research designs, characteristics and implementation specifics thereof in health care.

Competences

1.To substantiate and justify with scientific evidence the processes of care practice. Will be able to independently formulate a research question and choose an appropriate research design for practical research in the field of health care.

Work with academic literature to gain in-depth knowledge of research and various research designs. Work with scientific literature – searching in databases for scientific articles that reflect various types of research in health care and medicine, analysis of articles, evaluation according to criteria, description and submission of the description.
