Knowledge
1.After obtaining of the content of the study course students will have a detailed knowledge of the prevention, etiology, pathology, clinical presentation and treatment options for diseases affecting the pulp and periradicular tissue. Will be able to perform the diagnosis of endodontic pathology. Will be able to name and describe the materials and instruments used in endodontics, will know how to act and provide first aid in acute cases, will be able to choose appropriate drug pharmacotherapy.
Skills
1.The undergraduate will be able to use and to interpret basic diagnostic tests. Will be able to use rubber dam and additional isolation methods. Will be able to use rubber dam and additional isolation methods. Will be able to provide good dental anesthesia and supplemental anesthesia methods. Undergraduate will be able to perform primary root canal treatment in satisfactory quality on non-complicated teeth and to provide first aid in the case of symptomatic endodontic pathology.
Competences
1.Students acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to be able to continue studying the clinical course "Endodntics-clinic".Competence to diagnose endodontic disease, make decisions and choose treatment methods that are in accordance with existing treatment methods in dentistry.

Students should independently learn the theoretical part of the study course by reading the mandatory literature specified for each topic. Learning the specified literature is a mandatory part of the course.
