About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in order to prepare an oncologist – chemotherapist for thorough understanding of diagnostics, chemotherapy, endocrine, surgical therapy and radiotherapy opportunities and principles. As well as ensure acquisition of skills about groups of chemotherapy medications, biological medications, hormone preparations, their indications, most frequent side effects of medications and their treatment.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of diagnostics of malignant tumours, treatment principles of malignant tumours of different localisations. Most frequent complications, their treatment. Knowledge of chemotherapy principles, classification of medications, indications, most frequent side effects, their treatment.
