About Study Course

Objective

To provide students with knowledge of the laws and regulations governing shooting activities, shooting safety requirements and the principles for equipping shooting galleries. To strengthen skills to prepare and lead military lessons by leading practical shooting classes. To prepare and certify students for the planning, organising and leading of fixed target shooting classes. 

Preliminary Knowledge

The Basic Military Training Course (Level 1 and 2) and the Course on Preparation and Leading of Military Classes has been mastered successfully.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.1. Law on the Handling of Weapons. 2. Laws and regulations governing shooting activities. Safety rules for shooting galleries. 3. Safety requirements in shooting classes. Principles for equipping shooting galleries. 4. Planning, organising and leading of fixed target shooting classes.

Skills

1.5. To use the laws and regulations governing shooting activities, shooting safety requirements and the principles for equipping shooting galleries. 6. To independently plan, prepare and lead fixed target shooting classes, creating a safe work and study environment suitable for the performance of work. (Will be certified)

Competences

1.7. Skills to prepare and lead military lessons in shooting classes. 8. Personal military experience, will be able to purposefully and critically choose and integrate different study techniques, methods and technologies into the study process.

For a student to get a successful assessment, the following will be assessed: attitude towards education, development dynamics and active activity in theoretical and practical lessons, independent learning performed by the student – study course test, conducting shooting classes. 1. Theory test with 30 questions, which includes questions on topics studied in the study course – pass – 60% completed 2. Drawing of hazardous zones – at least 80 out of 100 points should be collected. The ability to safely set up and use shooting galleries is assessed. 3. Conducting a practical shooting lesson (assessment sheet in the Annex). The drawing can be redrawn once, there is no retaking in other disciplines.
