1.- Incidence of medical problems, clinical process features, potential atypical manifestations, outcomes – in elderly patients: - Cardiovascular diseases. Atherosclerosis. Coronary heart disease. Arrhythmias. Heart valve disorders. Arterial hypertension. Peripheral vascular disease - Gastrointestinal tract diseases. Oral health. Upper and lower gastrointestinal tract dyspepsia, bleeding, ischemia. Constipation. Diarrhea. Hepatobiliary diseases. - Respiratory diseases. HOPS. Bronchial asthma. Lung cancer. - Infections. Pneumonia. Urinary tract infection, cellulitis. - Emergency clinical conditions in the practice of the geriatrician.
Skills
1.- Clinical assessment of internal organs of a geriatric patient on the basis of the physical examination data. - Clinical interpretation of the necessary laboratory, functional and radiological examination results and drawing up a plan. - Formulation of a diagnosis and differential diagnosis on the basis of the clinical picture, laboratory results and analysis of examination results. - Drawing up of a treatment plan. Pharmacotherapydesignation. - Ability to recognize and act in emergency clinical situations (acute coronary syndrome, acutecardiac insufficiency, arrhythmia, bronchial asthma attack, etc.)
