About Study Course

Objective

To acquire knowledge of a modern, holistic view of functioning disorders acquired in the event of different diseases and injuries, their recognition, modern solutions.

Preliminary Knowledge

Human anatomy and physiology, medical ethics, propedeutics, physiology, passed course “Rehabilitation basics.”

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.On successful completion of the study course students will: 1) acquire basic knowledge regarding the objectives and tasks of physical and rehabilitation medicine at different stages of treatment for patients with internal or surgical diseases, as well as the planning of health services; 2) be able to assess the malfunctioning according to the International Classification of Functioning; 3) acquire basic knowledge of functioning disorders in patients with different diseases, injuries.

1.As a result of successful training, students will be able to make practical use of acquired knowledge and skills in assessing patient health and impairment.
