About Study Course

Objective

Provide students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills in general patient care in various cases of surgical and therapeutic sickness, as well as in ensuring chronic patient care and its succession, various disease prevention measures.

Preliminary Knowledge

Requires preliminary knowledge in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Students acquire basic knowledge of the signs of internal disease patients, the specificity of patient care, the importance and management of care.

2.Students will gain basic knowledge of basic principles of surgical disease care.

3.Students will gain knowledge of chronic patient care and ensuring its succession.

4.Students will acquire knowledge of various disease prevention measures and their role also in pregnancy and reproductive health.

Skills

1.Student will be able to perform patient preparation for elective and acute surgeries.

2.Student will be able to perform wound assessment and care, perform other surgical manipulations.
