1.Analyse and describe the developmental trends and regularities of modern medicine and health sciences and psychology. Define the problems of a certain topic in writing. Analyse, explain and describe in an integrated way a specific topic of medicine, health sciences or psychology orally.
Skills
1.Demonstrate the ability to perform critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of a specific topic. Demonstrate the ability to create a text using a scientific style. In discussion, demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the issues of the theories and methodology of modern medicine and health sciences or psychology related to the topic of own work.
Competences
1.Discuss in a reasoned way both in writing and orally the modern achievements of the science in the sector and outlines the concept of own work and discusses it in accordance with the requirements of modern science.

1. Prepare for an oral narrative (up to 10 minutes for the question) on topical issues in medicine, basic medical sciences, pharmacy, forensic medicine, health and sports sciences, or on the topics of the history of psychology and modern psychology.
2. For doctoral students in psychology, to prepare a written outline on one of the current topics of modern psychology in the amount of 380-500 words, taking into consideration the latest achievements in the science of psychology. The question will be drawn by lot 24 hours before the examination from 10 previously prepared topics.
3. For doctoral students in medicine and pharmacy, to prepare an oral narrative on the scientific framework of the subject matter of the doctoral thesis.
4. For doctoral students in psychology, to prepare an introduction and bibliography of the doctoral thesis, and an oral presentation on the subject matter of the doctoral thesis.
The student's contribution to the improvement of the study process is the provision of meaningful feedback on the study course by filling out its evaluation questionnaire.

The examination is assessed according to a 10-point grading system. The final mark is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the answers of the 3 parts of the examination provided after hearing the doctoral student's answers and consideration by the committee. If the assessment is below 4 for at least one part, the examination is not passed.
