Objective

During the study course a medical resident acquires knowledge about the subject of epidemiology of infectious diseases, methods, tasks and objectives, ecological and epidemiological classification of infectious diseases, structure of epidemic process, description of characteristics of the epidemic process: incidence rate, focus, permanent periodic and seasonal fluctuations of the epidemic process within a year and territorial distribution regularities. Record keeping and registration procedure of infectious diseases for the purpose of epidemiologic examination of focus of infection, tasks and algorithms.

Learning Outcomes

Skills

1.As a result of acquisition of the study course a medical resident will be able to record (register) infectious diseases, perform epidemiological examination of the case, and determine the limits of the focus of infection for the implementation of anti-epidemic measures.
