About Study Course
Objective
The purpose of semester paper development is to strengthen students’ knowledge, skills and competences necessary to independently develop and defend research paper.
Preliminary Knowledge
Understanding research, methodology, different research approaches. Basic knowledge of sourcing analysis and quoting. Knowledge in its field of study programme.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Students shall be thoroughly familiar with theoretical guidelines, principles, structure and practical working methods of the science sector of their programmes, which are necessary for the implementation of research projects. Thorough knowledge of the history, theories and current problems of the development of the sciences sector, including critical understanding of theories and research methodologies.
Skills
1.Students are able to independently select and implement a topical and innovative research project in the scientific sector. Is able to select and apply appropriate research methods for the professional and innovative implementation of research projects.
Competences
1.According to the specificities of the sector, students are able to independently acquire, select and analyse information and use it to perform research activity. Able to manage complex research projects and take responsibility for decision-making in unpredictable working or training conditions, as well as take responsibility for managing the professional development of persons or groups. Is able to take responsibility for the environmental and societal impact of his professional activities and understands the professional ethics of the sciences sector.

The formulation of the goal and objectives of the paper is determined in accordance with the subject of the research or creative work, demonstrating accuracy and substantiation of clear thoughts. The scope and depth of analysis of literature, the ability to use references are in accordance with the specifics of the paper, which is based on a perfectly harmonised, logical and critical comprehensive analysis, using academic style. The ability to resolve complex problem matters, providing a clearly substantiated and logical solution is evaluated. The research development methodology and quality is the one that implements tasks and includes literature analysis solutions, thus effectively creating a methodology for collection of data. Quality of data analysis, using appropriate tools and methods, including a critical evaluation of the analysis of research tasks and literature. The ability to select appropriate concepts and theories is assessed in the use of concepts, models and theory. The part with conclusions and recommendations is substantiated, clear and credible based on obtained results, tasks and conducted research. The presentation of the paper corresponds to methodical instructions, is logical and easy to understand. |
