About Study Course
Objective
Acquire and improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills within the scope of general internal medicine.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the internal medicine course resident is familiar with general and specific diagnostics and differential diagnostics of internal diseases, knows action tactics in status evaluation, examinations and treatment of multimorbid patients.
Skills
1.Upon completion of the internal medicine course resident has acquired practical skills of internal profile patient indications for hospitalization, preliminary disease diagnostics, status assessment, assigning and interpreting special examinations, treatment.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills resident will be able to define a diagnosis, make differential diagnosis, interpret test data, develop a structured treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically define and explain the treatment objectives, assess its effectiveness, side effects.
