About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.To understand the clinical and experimental laboratory examinations and the related endocrine pathology theoretically and practically.
Skills
1.To understand the operation principles of the large laboratory analyzers (nephelometry, turbidimetry, etc.). To learn correct interpretation of laboratory test results: clinical blood count, biochemical indicators, indicators of coagulation disorders and thromboses, hormonal indicators, urine tests. To be able to assess different molecular biological examinations related to endocrine pathology. To understand the principles of making these experiments.
Competences
1.To provide a possibility to a medical resident in endocrinology to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for different laboratory examinations used in research, diagnosis and assessment of endocrine diseases.

A resident of endocrinology acquires knowledge and skills about various laboratory tests used in the research, diagnosis and evaluation of endocrine diseases. The resident participates in various diagnostic and treatment methods, must attend the planned seminars. Prepare presentations of clinical cases for seminars with an emphasis on laboratory diagnostics. Get acquainted with the latest literature and prepare literature reviews. Understand the peculiarities of laboratory diagnostics and control dynamics of endocrine diseases. Exam test.
