About Study Course

Objective

To provide the resident with knowledge about the role of cytological diagnostics in the diagnosis of gynecological and breast cancer, as well as about the morphological features of the most common gynecological cancers and the role of the pathologist in choosing the right treatment tactics.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Understand the most common gynecological and breast cancer and cancer morphology Understand the principles, possibilities and methods of cytological and histological diagnostics.

Skills

1.Take cytological and histological tests for suspected gynecological and breast tumors. Interpret the results of cytological and histological analyzes and apply them in the preparation of the examination and treatment plan.

1.Express an evidence-based opinion based on cytological and histological findings in the design of the patient's examination and treatment plan.
