About Study Course
Objective
Give students the opportunity to learn in theory and practice a variety of outdoor activities related to the use of bicycles, their planning, organisation, management, analysis. To enable the acquisition of various non-traditional sports, their organisation, application and management for the active recreation of individuals, the restoration of emotional, mental and physical capacity in the open air.
Preliminary Knowledge
Knowledge is needed in organising and conducting infantry hikes and boat trips, general pedagogy, development, social and contact psychology, tourism and orientation basics and didactic, first aid, hygiene, sports theory.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Students interpret knowledge and demonstrate reasonably critical understanding of scientific achievements in the study process of non-traditional sports and recreational activities (cycle rides), organisation and management of events.

2.Will know and compare differences in organizing methodologies when the participants in the cycle ride are children, young people, adults, seniors.

3.Will know and describe differences in the targeting and formulation of the cycle journey for groups of different ages and fitness.

1.Will be able to plan cycle rides in urban environments, rural areas, forest trails

3.Knows how to choose the most suitable non-traditional sports for purpose, age and gender characteristics and fitness.

Competences
1.Students are able to apply knowledge and skills in planning, organising, managing and evaluating different cycle rides.

2.Students shall evaluate and expertly analyse the choice of the cycle route and non-traditional activities, the suitability of environmental resources for the implementation thereof in the content of recreational activities.

3.Use non-traditional activities expertly in planning, organising and conducting practice sessions for different contingent, selecting and applying the appropriate didactic techniques.

4.Able to express themselves using professional terminology and concepts, communicate (including in English) with the group at outdoor activities organised by students.

Students need to develop a cycling plan, observing the following conditions in the development thereof: +) trip name, purpose, time, target audience +) trip route map with rest, inspection and activity points +) trip route description and time plan +) trip itinerary description - required +) meals planned during the trip - provision +) during the trip - if necessary - planned accommodations (shelters, tents, guest houses, etc.) +) financing and estimate necessary during the trip +) Special equipment and medical equipment (medicines, thermometer, links, etc.) |
