Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.1. Will be well versed in health care for children and youths in the field of sports medicine and medical examinations of young athletes in accordance with CM Regulations No. 594. 2. Will be familiar with the determination and assessment of posture and body somatotype for athletes in children and youths. 3. Will be able to determine the condition of legs and feet of children and youths and will be familiar with assessment methods for athletes. 4. Will know anthropometric methods for determining the physical development of children and young athletes. 5. Will know the EUROFIT method for determining the physical development and fitness of children and youths. 6. Will be familiar with anti-doping rules, doping agents and method control in sport.
Skills
1.7. Students are able to independently determine and assess the posture and body somatotype. 8. Students are able to independently determine and assess the condition of leg and feet using somatoscopy and plantography methods. 9. Students are able to independently determine and analyse physical development using anthropometric methods. 10. Students acquire the skills to independently determine, analyse and assess the fitness of children and young athletes and non-athletes using the EUROFIT method.
Competences
1.11. Students acquire competences to independently determine and assess posture and body somatotype in children and youths, young athletes, draw conclusions and make recommendations. 12. Students acquire competences to independently determine and assess the condition of legs and feet of children and youths, young athletes, draw conclusions and make recommendations. 13. Students acquire competences to independently determine, analyse and assess physical development in children and youths, young athletes using anthropometric methods, draw conclusions and make recommendations. 14. Students acquire competences to independently determine, analyse and assess the fitness of children and youths, young athletes using the EUROFIT method.

Assessment of learning outcomes
1. Attitude towards studies, development dynamics, work during seminars (10%).
2. Independently performed practical works (20%).
3. Written tests of the study course (70%)
The summative method is used in the total assessment of learning outcomes.
