About Study Course
Objective
To improve the professional competence of students to perform, analyse, plan and teach Latvian folk dances, dancesports and contemporary dance elements using dance combinations to promote pupils’ mobility skills, health promotion, creativity, collaboration and artistic expression at different stages of education.
Preliminary Knowledge
Knowledge of the principles of the organisation of the pedagogical process, the characteristics of the development of the student stages of age, the regularities of movement learning, the impact of physical exercise on the body and safety requirements during physical activity. Understanding the basic principles of planning, implementing and evaluating the sports and health training process. The ability to execute rhythmic movements and simple rhythmic combinations, capture the pace, rhythm and structure of music, plan a lesson, use digital tools and reflect on your pedagogical activity. Experience in cooperation, organisation of practical physical activities and pedagogical practice.
